Terrorist Attacks

Terrorist Attacks by Tiffany Harper

(Ephesians 6:11) Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

On September 11, 2001 19 men hijacked fuel-loaded commercial airlines. This terrorist attack was constructed by Al Qaeda and lead by Osama Bin Ladin. 2,977 people were killed in New York City, Washington D.C., and outside of Shanksville, Pennsylvania. This attack on the U.S. was considered the worst attack in history. This left the United States devastated, confused, and in pure destruction.

The devil will attack us, and IF we let him it will leave us devastated, confused and in pure destruction.

Satan will attack with no hesitation an unexpectedly. He will provide no warning. Al Qaeda didn’t warn the U.S. when they attacked because they knew if we had any idea they were coming we would’ve been prepared.

Either way as Christians we should be prepared to recover and take the Devils hits for he isn’t afraid to commit assault physically and mentally. We should be able to recover and withstand all of his terrorist attacks.
For the devil is an assailant on a mission to kill, steal and destroy. His number one tool is dis encouragement.

Ephesians 6:12-17 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rules of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

The word of God is our sword. We must study the word of God in order to know how to use our sword.

The whole armor of God includes the belt of truth which involves are hearts and our minds. Truth keeps us secure in Christ. The belt also holds our Armor in place. Next is  The breastplate of righteousness which will protect the heart from being penetrated. The shoes of peace and preparation that will allow us to step freely and without fear while we turn our attention to the battle at hand. The shield of faith that will protect our whole body and move with the attack no matter the direction. The helmet of salvation that will protect our minds from doubting the truth of God’s saving works for us. And finally the sword, the only weapon that works in offense and defense.

We must not confuse the Devils acts with are own. For we can work against our own selves. We can commit a terrorist attack.

1st Peter 4:1 For as much then as Christ has suffered for us in the flesh arm yourselves likewise with the same mind for he that has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin.

You have to put off by crucifying the flesh our way and put on Christ God’s way.

In conclusion. God to me is my redeemer, my refuge, he is omnipotent meaning all powerful, omniscient meaning all knowing, and omnipresent meaning everywhere. He is Jehovah, Elohim meaning Devine. He is the word that will lead, guide and protect me from terrorism.
